Our standard package includes everything you need to develop your basement into the perfect living room for your family.
During this stage we work with you to finalize the floorplan, pick the various fixtures and finishes. Upon completion of the floor plan and the material spec sheet. We file for a building permit ( development permit if required ) at the city of Calgary. After this has been, approval we begin construction.
During this stage the various rough-ins are completed. Starting with the framer completing the various walls & bulkheads. Once the framing has been completed the electrician and plumber will complete their rough-in.
INSPECTIONS: Upon completion of each rough-in, the city inspections will be booked and completed.
After the inspections have been completed, Drywall will be delivered and the boarders will begin working. In just 1 or two days, they will have all the drywall installed. Over the next few days the finishing work & texture will be completed. This takes much longer as each coat has to dry before the next coat can be applied.
Now for the finishing touches. The trim & doors will be installed and the paint applied. After the paint has finished drying, our electrician and plumber will finish up, leaving only a few finish touches for our team. Flooring will be rolled out.
INSPECTIONS: The final inspections will be booked and completed ( Ideally all on the same day! )
After all the inspections have been completed. We will schedule a time to walk through the basement with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the finished product. Upon signing off, we will schedule professional cleaners to clean the basement from top to bottom.
After you have had time to settle in your newly developed space, we will swing by to make sure you are still 100% happy with the way everything turned out and settle up on the final 10% payment.
We will also snap a few pictures of the finished space with all the furniture for our projects folder while we are there!

During the initial meeting we meet with you to better understand your vision for the space. Taking into account the unique features the space has to offer, ensuring every area is utilized efficiently.
After our initial meeting we will put together a detailed base estimate that provides the foundation to compare quotes. This estimate will provide budgeted amounts for items such as fixtures & flooring.
Once you have decided to move ahead with the project, we will sign the initial contract and sit down to finalize the design. Materials will be selected and the floor plan will be finalized. 3D renderings will be created to provide a visual reference for what the final product will look like
We believe our staged payment process provides the foundation for trust throughout the project. It ensures client is only paying for the work as it is completed & the contractor is not at risk by completing too much of the project without receiving payment. We believe this is the best way to ensure both party’s are treated fairly during this transaction.
Unlike many other contractors, we do not require final payment upon completion of the job. As suggested by the Alberta government, the final 10% of the invoice should be held back ( 10% hold back ) for a minimum of 30 days to ensure no builders leans have been placed on the property by any unpaid sub trades.

For our projects, we require payment be provided in the form of a certified check or bank draft. We feel this ensures there are no surprises for either party ( Delayed cashing of cheque or bounces )
